Digital Topography: Makes precision maps of the contours of the cornea (the front surface of the eye). The maps are stored on the computer which uses wavefront analysis to study the details of the images.
It is this technology which allows the fitting of advanced contact lens designs, including Orthokeratology. It is excellent in detecting and monitoring the health status of the cornea for conditions such as U.V damage and Keratoconus.
